Welcome to Camp Shelby!
I’ve been doing this hobby since 2003, and I’m blessed to have a wife who is as passionate about WWII living history stuff as I am. We’ve been together since 2005, and she’s been in the hobby with me since 2006. Over the last fifteen plus years, I’ve seen alot of positive changes come about for women in the hobby.
One thing, however, that hasn’t changed, is the dearth of quality reproduction clothing for female reenactors, particularly if they want to do a military impression. I’ve seen reproductions that are terrific, but way, way outside the price point for most working female reenactors, and the stuff that is in their price range is sorely lacking in quality and detail. Well, we decided that this needed to change, and are in the process of working on our Camp Shelby Line.
What’s the Camp Shelby Line?
Named in honor of Camp Shelby, Mississippi, this is our line of US Army WAC uniforms. Our goal is to make WAC uniforms affordable, and accessible, without sacrificing the authentic details.
Each piece is patterned off an extent original in our collection, and made from quality reproduction fabric. These will be made to order pieces, so while they may take a little while to get to you, you can rest assured that they will fit you properly.
As they are made to order, you can expect wait times of up to four months before they are ready to ship.
